Jacob's Point of View The following day was a write-off, from the second I opened my eyes. I awoke with a jolt at just before 9am after sleeping through not one, but two alarms, and half a dozen missed calls. My tongue was stuck to the roof of my very dry mouth and I felt like I'd been on a three-day bender. I was light-headed and groggy and didn't have a clue how I'd gotten to bed the night before. It took me several attempts to get out of bed, and the simple task of crossing to the bathroom was made almost impossible by the fact that I seemed to have the co-ordination of a newborn deer.
