The second dive on the Norwich and the as yet unidentified U3000/U966 had seemed to go on for ever to those waiting patiently on the bridge of H.M.S. Wyvern. Ross, Drake and the others had listened intently to the words being transmitted to the surface by the two dive teams, and Ross was at last beginning to understand just what the lure of the old German U-Boat had been for the crooked executives of the Aegis Institute, and why Aaron Decker had said that he thought he might be on to something that might make him a lot of money.
