Chapter 26“It's just not cricket, you know”
Detective Chief Inspector Oscar Agostini placed the phone down on its cradle at the end of a most illuminating phone call. Andrew Montfort, one of the chief supporters of the university sports department, but especially the cricket club, had taken him by surprise with his call.
Agostini sat thinking for a minute and then picked up the phone again. When Paul Ferris answered his extension, Agostini asked him to find Sam Gable and Derek McLennan and send them to his office.
