Andy Ross had to admit to being impressed with the level of cooperation he was receiving from the Royal Navy and the Coast Guard. His next step was to arrange liaison with the Devon and Cornwall Police. Thanks to D.C.I. Agostini, the local force had been made aware that he and Drake were 'on their patch' and were expecting his call. He'd delayed contacting them until he'd spoken with the Navy and Coast Guard representatives. Now he was sure of their support he felt he could move to involve the locals. Agostini had furnished him with the name of the local Detective Inspector who'd been tasked with working with him and he placed a call to the local station and was put through to D.I. Brian Jones.
