I stood there, frozen in my spot as she stared at me. I honestly had no idea why she would stare at me like that. I did nothing wrong to offend her, and it wasn't as if I could have said something to offend her. I tried to shield myself by moving behind Dermont a bit. I looked at the other packmembers who sat next to her as all of them just glared at me.
One of the guys walked up to Dermont and me. "Luna, it is so nice to officially meet you. I am Micky. Welcome to the pack!" he said, trying to extend his hand and greet me. I just looked at him and tried to force a smile across my face. Why would he come over and greet me if he just sat there with the group that glared at me?
