LOLA’S POV
FEW YEARS AGO
“What are you talking about?” I asked Mike. The reality of what he just said started hitting me.
“I thought that he told you. I mean, aren’t you his girlfriend?” He implored.
“I am, okay, it is just that, he never told me,” I told him the truth.
“Should I call him?” Mike asked me and waited for a reply.
“Umm-mmh,” I nodded.
Mike tried calling Zach but his phone was not going through. He was off.
“Maybe he has blocked you or something. I will go and try calling him with my phone. Bye, thanks for coming out to talk to me,” I thanked him before I rushed out of his place.
