teaser | him; the dead
"Blasphemy!" "It's the truth." The gaze of him was darting my consciousness into the fallen. Heavy breaths start to form in my chest as I try not to stare at his raging eyes. "Before, your soul was leading the way to death, and it's now ticking your head...and it's my fear that I couldn't see you in my sight." "I know." He sighed, "I already acknowledge that in my vocabulary, lady." I straightly look at him, intensely. "Then why? Why didn't you make any move from before? It's been a year since you are hiding in this mouse demise." I retorted. I couldn't feel anything but worried about this man's fate. I know this is none of my business but my life would be meaningless if he's gone. He's only my hope. As he reached the ringe of the pool, his hand instantly taking off the fabric that clothed his anatomy, leaping himself fully naked as he lurked in the pool. He drowned his lower chassis to the sparkling water as the shadow hid the face of him. But still, I see in my vision and senses his godlike posture even though it's covered by blackness. "This pawn," he pointed to himself, "was admonished by the god's authority. Making it hard to decide what step I should take off every ground where I stepped for." His lips grinned as it sipped the cigarettes of his finger. "But…I already have a grip on their lap, somehow." He added "What? Since when?" I queried. The historical laugh from his mouth pierced the air of each corner of the room, as if there was something off he noticed. My lips purse after hearing this jerk's amusement. He shook his hand, "When, the horizon of them sets to dawn. But I guess their Monarch comes to start. I couldn't help myself but to praise my benevolence for fluttering into dust their caskets." My lips in instant widen to my ears after hearing his words. A relief in my heart overthrew the whole system of mine. "But your father, Don Viéro—" He cut off my sentence. "Oh, about the dare devil he assign to beheaded my flesh?" The pitch of his voice was low as he grill the question on me. I nodded my forehead, "He was also…one of the commoners in the Japan's Undergound Hierarchy." Unease run down my spine through the rampant thudding in my heart, thinking how shame its atrocity that maggot has. His body moved causing to be hit by a bit of reflected moonlight on his chest, so is his bearded mouth. I almost swallowed my own tongue as I aim to cover my mouth with the documents I'm holding when the first sense of me catches his luscious physique that overcast the glistening water of the pool. "If I meet him in my sanity, it would be my great pleasure to hunker down my knees on the ground for him." His teeth gritted as he stated. I winced at his remarks. "But, they have numerous consociates." A timbre to set forth my thought to him was trembling by the atrocious-look he furnished to me. The shape of his lips moved, "Even I'm a pawn on this punctuatal game, there no more blood of Life's prodigy will be lore of their bullets as I can breathe the air of Death's spectrum." "That's sick." I replied, rolling my eyes, sarcastically raising the eyebrow. He turns his gaze away as he lets out a soft giggles. Three seconds later, silence engulfed both of our heads. A tick-tocking sound of wall clocks is the only thing that substitutes the deafening silence of the room. I drew air from my lungs before saying a word to him,"Anyway," I exhaled. "These are some hidden documents which I got from your 'father's' room." I noticed how his eyes glitter after seeing the documents that I hold as he converged blistering in my direction. "You must thank me for doing it." "I owe you a request, kind to share?" He said, as his eyes focused on finding something in the document's text. He didn't even bother to raise his forehead to look at me . "Yeah." I hang the word. "Then, what should it be?" He asks, continuing his doing. "Would you mind… if I make you as my character portrait on my canvas?" I bit my lower lip. He purred me a look. "If…you are interested, though." I exclaimed, shrugging the tip of my shoulder. "As you are aware… I loathe art." He lowered his voice as he turned his gaze,"Precisely those images are delineated on canvas. If you wouldn't mind, give me another one. Not that shitty masterpiece." I scoffed my tongue after hearing the last word he threw. The knees of mine are cramping, as I thirst the hyperborean that landed in my epidermis. I pull out a gut in my lungs to at ease for a moment the sensitiveness that blocks my mind in a second. "Night drifting?" He suggested. "Tokyo tonight?" I ask him, uncertainty. "Yes." He replied. A thin black curtain from behind him was swayed by the soft whirl of winds that sneaked from the unbarred window. The dominance of his smile has shown as his form gloom because of the cerulean blue, shaded with shadow that embraces an unusual vividness of the scenery of him. My eyes narrowed as he tore the paper into pieces and he just let the torn papers slip to his hand and perch the surface of the water. The grin that engraved to his lips, widened. I tucked my elbows in while clasping my wrist. How could he be so resilient? I almost sold the body and soul of me to hell just to get those files for him, and seeing what he did, he made me lost in my trance. "Hey, Sabrina," he hailed. "What?" "Why can't you take off that cloth of yours and join me here in the plunge of water for a sec, instead?" His fatuous voice offered, as it lowered its tone. "I'm kind of… alone here." He teasingly voiced. "Well I'm about too, actually. But I have mountains of paperwork to reconcile in my office. So apparently, not!" I scoffed, as I altered the words just to get rid of his will. "What if I insist?" He tittered. "Thanks but, I'm okay—" The loud banging of the opening door cuts off my words. Grey fumes emerge rapidly on a blast as the door opens, an acrid staleness of sulfur filling the corner of the room as it's creating mist inside. A heavy thud of steps echoes out on the door. The clock in the wall stopped ticking. The shivers took a track in my spine as well as the knots of my stomach tightened. My feets get cold as I turn my head back and face the eight black-suited men plunging themselves inside, one by one. With a lightweight high-velocity of various calibres on their forelimb. In a blink of my eye, they immediately surrounded and they puts the edge point of the rifle on one life that was still bathed in the pool. "Well, what's this for?" His jaw clenched, but both of us didn't heard a word of mouth in them. Instead, a yank of burst out of laughing apprehended in me and Crimson's ears. A seemingly deep broach penetrated my system from behind. Soft whispers of him beaming in my ears, "How lucky I am to you Sabrina Peter." My nostril flare when I felt his tongue landed in my ear's skin. "f**k you, pervert!?" I grawled to the brunette man with sanpaku eyes as he passed by at my position. He had the same height and physique that Crimson have. "Your welcome." He instantly replied. "Anyway, talking to this unlucky prey that where trap on his own demise." He puff out his chest as he counter the blazing eyes of Crimson. Crimson clenched his fist madly, "Who are you to lay your filthy hands on her!?" The voice of Crimson, echoes. "If I do that…," the wretch's voice was calm but I can still hear the sneer in the tone he used. "what action would you take? Your life is now in my hand as well as your head was bailed in death's fate already. There's nothing you can do to it…but stare at us, right Sab?" Crimson's furrowed eyebrows spotted at me. Furtherless, I grinned a little bit because all of them stared intensely at one direction. I heaved a deep sigh as I pull out the gun in my side. "Hey buttfaces!" I madly shouted to all of them while I point the gun on to the man's back of head. "Let him escape or I splattered your brains out to your head." I gritted my teeth. The devil is amused of what I did as so as Crimson. "Speak up!?" I burst my voice loud, enduring the shivers that blocking me inside. Half of his men are also locked the target on me. He just laughed out loud. "Oh come on, Sab," he praises his two hands in the air while he holding back his laugh. "Got your guilt already eats you up?" "The hell I care? Just do what I said, maggots!?" I said, pressing the gun even more deep on his skin so if he moves a muscle, it was not that easy on him to shove away the gun to his skin. Second, i can knock him down more easily if he intends to do so. "Sab, look out!?" Crimson loudly urge. But it's too late for me to forbear my face from the raging smooth metal club that used by the pitchers. I feel hot liquid tracks down my cheek as my head landed on the floor tiles. I immediately spit a blood out in my mouth. My heads getting heavy, my system don't feel anything and it is hard for me to move a muscle, even in speaking. There's nothing I feel, but mourns in my head. I gaze up to Crimson as my tears overflown. But I instantly looked up my eyes when a pair of legs block my view. "Not so fast, my princess." Xena glacé, flinching my jaw that tainted with my own blood. Her lips wide that could almost tore apart her face skin. I noticed the baseball bat with a stain of my blood that she placed back of her shoulders "Stop, you b***h!" Crimson's voice is rising, slamming his fist on the air. But none of them seems to hear or feels Crimson's fury. She picks up my gun. "Look, how aesthetic your pistol is. But poorly, the owner is too dumb to handle it." She speak. Laughter of ten mouths burst in the air after she put the tip of her heels in my face. I moan in pain. "Now, princess. Your knight in shining armor will feel your sorrows." She scoffed her tongue. "May you never forget this scenario. Enjoy!" My heart pumps rapidly as I shout loudly his name, even though its grawl that only escape from my throat. I forced to open up my mouth, "Crimson!?" I see how his wet hair dripped down to his face. His lips bitterly widened as he pointed me a gaze of his eyes with a tears that rolling down to his jaw. An ache start to form in my lungs, colds engulfed my nerves. Merciless bullets from their weapons showered his helpless body. The empty shells of bullets cling in the floor, relentlessly. I moaned in sorrow as they clicks and refill the magazines on their weapon and continuing to pour a rain in him with their bullets. --- The pair of hands forcefully shoved my shoulders, causing me to open my cautiousness to reality. A man with an inscrutable face that reveals no hint of his emotion, sitting beside me. "Ephialtes?" He asked. I felt the sweats sculpting and spilled throughout the corner of my face, the dryness of my throat as I caught my breath. "Yes." I nodded, fixing my posture into solemness and fastened my seat belt. I know this is going to be tough. "I wonder, that dreams terrify you a lot." The corner of my mouth quivered upward, and rolled my eyes in nowhere upon hearing his jest. Afterwards, I explore my gaze on my side. I gaped my breath as soon as I perceived with my naked eye the view outside of the car's window. The blinding city lights, sky-scraping establishments, dozens of feet that crossed in the lane back and forth. "This city never sleeps." I exclaimed. "Always and forever." He spoke. Twelve minutes as we make our way through the place where he lodges himself from the hungry beast who's haunting him. "How far is your cabin?" My voice stiffed as I asked. He takes his hand away on the steering wheel and steps his feet to the brake pedal, "We're here." He winked.
