The Amazing Young Madam

Two hours had passed but the groom is still nowhere in sight. Bella is getting depressingly anxious as time ticks by. Her groom, Norton, should’ve arrived at the Civil Registry two hours ago. She had tried calling him for the past two hours but all calls went unanswered. When she thought that something’s not right, her phone lit up to notify her of an incoming message. She hurriedly checked on it thinking it was Norton. To her dismay, it was a notification which was showing her that her evil step-sister Donna has sent her a message. She was stunned and tears started to flow on her beautiful face after opening the message. Donna sent a picture of herself hugging the sleeping Norton on the bed obviously naked under the covers. Norton was covered with love bites on his neck and chest. She was in utter disbelief that his fiance whom she had a relationship with for the last ten years would betray her and with the person she hated the most. She weakly sat on a nearby bench trying to digest the sudden wave of emotion she felt with her fiance’s betrayal. She was deeply hurt but she felt more hatred and anger especially when she can't forget what she saw. -- [Bella POV] ‘Great job, Bella! Your evil step-sister won again. First, your family and now your fiance, well, scumbag ex-fiance.’ I was deep in thought with regrets and new future plans when I felt a slight tap on my shoulder. A man in blue suit was standing in front of me looking apologetically. He looks like a good person and seems to be about twenty-five to twenty-eight years old. “I’m sorry, Miss. I’ve been trying to get your attention but I guess you are deep in thought so I had no choice but to tap your shoulder.” “Oh. Sorry about that. How can I help you, sir?” “My name is Bob. Me and my boss were here for quite some time and we noticed that you’ve been waiting for a long time, too.” I was frowning and confused but still continued to listen to what he has to say. “We assumed that your groom stood you up.” I laughed bitterly. “Do I look that pitiful that even strangers were able to see through my awful situation?” He hurriedly said, “I’m sorry for sounding rude. I will get straight to the point. You see my boss was also stood up by his bride and he was wondering if you’d marry him instead? He is willing to give you a house and monthly allowance if you agreed.” My frown got deeper then laughed. I was looking at him as though looking at a crazy person. I honestly don't even know how to react with the betrayal I had just received from my 'ex-fiance' then another confusing thing is happening. "Are you trying to mess with me, Mister? Is this some kind of a TV show?" I looked around us hoping to find someone with a camera nearby. "No. No. I am serious, Miss. Please consider it." He looked sincere and serious but what's happening is really ridiculous. It doesn't make sense, that if he said was true, that a wealthy man would just randomly offer a stranger into marrying her. There could be a catch. So curiosity got the better of me and can't help but ask. "You seem to have a very wealthy boss who would even offer a house and a monthly allowance. Wouldn't it be hard for him to marry somebody who is not a stranger? Or is something wrong with him?" "My boss is indeed very wealthy. He is very handsome and in perfect healthy condition. It's just that he really needed to get married today." I was still unconvinced and was about to send him away because I have my own problems to deal with. Before I had the chance to say it, my phone vibrated again to notify me of another message. I thought it was from Donna again but it was from Norton. [Sorry, babe. I was stuck in a meeting.
