Surprised, I stopped before any words left my mouth. Bytlock had managed to pull Rachel out of her shell. Besides with those she knew well, the young girl barely looked up from the floor. The Rachel today was as animated and confident as I had ever seen her. I stood, mouth gaping in shock.
"Sia, do close your mouth, it is not an attractive look." Bytlock sniggered as he walked Rachel over to us. I stuck my tongue out at him in response. "From ugly to immature, sure got yourself a catch here Shane." He mocked, winking at me.
Shane laughed, his hand extended to greet Bytlock. "It's good to meet you, you mean so much to Sia." His arm snaked around my waist as he pulled me into him, my body fitting perfectly with his. "I'm glad you both enjoyed yourselves today but we really must be going."
