I woke up with a shriek, bolting up in bead, only to collapse back feeling dizzy. Blinking rapidly, I tried to wake up, to find the source of the loud noise. Struggling up, a bit more slowly this time, I heard a groan from the floor by the bed. Shuffling over, my palm rubbing ferociously at my eye, I peered at the floor. Shane was lying on his back, wincing slightly as he sat up, rubbing at his head. I snickered.
"What the hell are you doing?" He looked at me incredulous.
"What am I doing? You just pushed me out of the bed!" He grunted as he pushed himself off the floor, stretching as he looked down at my giggling face.
