GILDA’S POV I was ready. I was ready for anything, whatever he wanted to do to me. If he wanted to send me out of the house without his brother’s interference, I was prepared for that too. I looked at the building again and could not believe I had been called here just to be dismissed. My legs carried me into his office. A small smile escaped his lips when he saw me.
