GILDA'S POV The door opened and one of the guards stepped in. "The boss needs all of you right now. He wants to speak to all of you," he said. Jane sighed and walked away. I followed her, and we all went to the sitting room. Japheth wasn't there yet. We waited for him. I could feel the tension in the air; it made my stomach churn. I hated being in this situation. I knew why he had gathered us all here, and I knew I was the reason. My legs felt sweaty, and my palms were too. Japheth finally arrived. He looked at all of us. "Thank you for being here.
