I was just stunned while stirring the coffee I brewed. I still can't move on from what happened yesterday. How dare he! That Rare is stupid.

I am not pregnant and Rare did not allow me to be happy. Damn him! He is hopeful.

I just don't understand if he used protection when he knew I wasn't pregnant, so why did he act like he was after my baby? Why does he seem to be taking care of me? I didn't assume it, but it's true.

"Ms. Atarah. Let's go to my office. We have something to talk." Rare said seriously, raising my eyebrows.

When we got there, Kristan immediately left because he said the patient still had a check.

"Let's have lunch together okay? See you around baby Ath." I just smiled at him and nodded. I went inside the Nurses' locker room and opened mine to put my bag there but I was immediately alarmed when I felt the door close. I immediately looked at it and Rare's frustrated face was revealed to me.

"What are you doing here?" I said flatly. He said this boy will follow me.

"You, what do you think you're doing?" It was a polite answer so I looked at it bored.

"Putting stuff in. Isn't it obvious?"

"F-ck!" he said in disgust as his jaw tensed.

"Lah? How are you? You look like a fool." I was annoyed and said as I closed my locker and passed him but only when he pulled me.

"Is he your boyfriend?" he looked directly into my eyes. His eyes were so intense, that I just swallowed and looked away.

"What? Who?" I asked in surprise.

"Dr. Laspiatio?" Oh, he belongs to Kristan. Well, Kristan and I are just fenny, that's just clingy, and that's why we get issues often. What do you expect, we are in the Philippines.

"Are you okay? Shoo! Go away now." I pushed him away.

"Just answer my goddamn question!" His cheeks were red and his hair was a bit messy.

When we got out, I came to my senses and suddenly let go of Rare's hand, who was now smiling.

"You're thick! Tse." I was about to leave when he suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him.

"It's lunch time, let's go." He pulled me back and walked but I just struggled.

"Liar jerk!" I just grinned at him and then started the car.

The whole trip was quiet and only music was making noise. I glanced at the person next to me who just closed his eyes as if he was asleep. He is tired but how can he manage to still be happy even though he is tired?

I didn't disturb him when he was sleeping and I just woke him up when we got to the mansion.

"Hey, we're here," I said and he opened his eyes. And I swallowed when I noticed that his eyes were bright. The f-ck only in my novels can I read men this handsome.

Charl is also handsome, too! But Rare always seemed to attract someone else.
