I was forced to do something different from what I had planned. I didn't expect to have to do something that could jeopardize Elena's life. But I had no choice. This was all I could do to save myself. It sounds selfish; yes, I was selfish. I wanted to save myself and didn't care about anything else. I didn't even care if the curse didn't go away as long as I could be the strongest of the strong. And having a life stone is the key.
I will fight with everything I have if I have to. The thing is, it doesn't come without a price. It's a risk—a big one. My life, destiny, and possibly the future of everyone around me depend on what I do. And I have nothing to lose by doing so, so there's no reason for me to hesitate.
