Elena's POV
"Lie down, please."
Alfredo ordered me to lie on the big stone table in the center of the room next to Grey's lifeless body. I tried not to look at his face too often as we went along because the sight made me feel dizzy.
He had a small cut on his forehead and wounds all over his body.
"It's going to hurt a little bit more."
I nod, signaling that I understand. Earlier, Svaha and Alfredo explained that this process would be painful.
But of course, that wouldn't make me give up. I'm a friend with pain. I convinced myself that I could do it.
Doesn't it take a lot of pain and sacrifice to realize a goal?
"Elena, close your eyes, and try to relax," Svaha whispered, and I nodded to follow his directions.
