Grey's POV
I was lost in a dark, cold, silent, endless, and lonely place until I heard that familiar voice - Elena's soothing voice— her voice led me to find the light that would eventually become my escape from this horrible, lonely place.
I followed her direction as she called my name over and over.
"Grey...."
"Grey..."
Her voice was so gentle and calmed me. I roamed on, coming after where the voice was coming from, until my eyes caught a light at the other end, a light that was so bright and seemed so close. With what energy I had left, I strolled towards the light, following Elena's voice that didn't stop calling out my name. For some reason, even though the light felt very close, I couldn't reach it quickly, even though I had put all my energy into it.
