Chapter 11

1090 Words
Elena's POV I broke our kiss forcefully as a stinging pain shot through the birthmark on my back. I was startled, and I quickly jumped away from him. "What's wrong?" Grey asked me. I can't help it. It had been a long time since anyone had touched my back, and when he did, it made me feel uncomfortable. I looked down while holding my back. It hurt like a hot iron touching the skin. "Elena, are you okay?" Grey took a few steps forward, trying to get closer to me. I shook my head while giving him a signal that I was okay, even though this pain was slowly eradicating me. I had a headache. I was so dizzy that I could barely open my eyes. I was sweating like crazy, and my head was throbbing. I kept telling myself that it would go away, but it kept getting worse and worse. It was only a matter of time before I passed out. I couldn't move, I couldn't talk, I could barely think. My whole body ached, and my back felt like it was being ripped apart by millions of tiny knives. I tried to stay calm and breathe through the pain, but it didn't work. It was too much for me to handle. The last thing I remember is Grey shaking my body and yelling at me for not getting up sooner. *** A few hours later. The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was the black ceiling. I don't understand why anyone would choose black for their ceiling. Isn't that white ceiling nicer, right? The whole place should be lit up, like on the TV. However, there must be a reason why everything in this room was dark. It makes no sense to let sunlight through since werewolves are not afraid of sunlight, but why does this room look like a vampire's room? I tried to get up from where I lay. Ouch, my head feels like it's going to explode. It hurts, oh Moon goddess, what happened to me? And who brought me into this room? "Don't move too much!" Someone made a sound. I scanned the dimly lit room for the source of the sound. Then my gaze stopped at a shirtless man standing in front of the window staring at me and smiling faintly. "Did you bring me here? I asked Gray. “Yes, you can go alone. You've passed out before," Gray replied. I was stunned and tried to remember what made me pass out. "What happened to me?" I asked like a fool who didn't know what had happened to me. "I don't know. You didn't say anything to me. You just looked hurt, then you collapsed and became unconscious." "Don't you remember when we kissed?" He started walking towards me. "What?" I asked, standing up and leaning against the wall for support. "How was the feeling?" He looked into my face. His green gem iris is very dark with a blue tint. "I wanted to tell you something," he said, looking into my eyes. "What's that?" I ask. He took a step closer to me which made me very uncomfortable, and it was when his face got closer to mine that gave me goosebumps. My breath catches as he breathes beside my face. "You look so beautiful tonight, Elena..." He said, looking straight into my eyes again. I gulped as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me to his bare chest. The connection sent such electric shocks through my body that it felt like my skin had been touched by fire and ice and everything in between. I felt like I couldn't breathe. I pushed him away from me. "Can I get out of here? Uhm, I mean from this room?" I asked with trembling lips. Somehow I felt scared. I've never had s*x with a man, so Grey's touch makes me awkward. "Are you going to continue to act like this towards me?" asked Grey angrily. I stopped walking "what do you mean?" "Don't you realize that I am your mate? I am your alpha?" I froze where I was, not moving. "Elena," Grey walked towards me. "Have you forgotten who saved your life from Alpha Fillan?" he asked. I shook my head. I didn't forget. I remember everything. "Is this your way of repaying everything I've done for you?" Grey was getting closer. I took a few steps back until my body hit the wall behind me. The man was standing just inches in front of me. He growled and started screaming. I almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw him turn into a Lycan, a half-werewolf that looked bizarre. His body grew and stretched. His skin turned into thick fur. Claws grew from its hands and feet. A few minutes after he turned into a lycan, he took another step towards me. I was scared to death. "Have you thought carefully about my offer yesterday?" he asked. I gasped, and I remembered again about the offer he had made. His voice turned deep and harsh. It echoes throughout this black-walled room. "Haven't you made your decision yet?" he asked again with every emphasis in his words. I was terrified. I was afraid he would kill me. His eyes were bloodthirsty, and he stared at me as if I was his prey. "F-fine, I'll give you what you want. But," I felt intimidated and pressured. I couldn't think straight when I agreed to what Gray asked for. "Very good." Grey smiles and strokes my hair with his claws. "But, I put forward a few conditions," with all the courage that was left in me, I raised my eyes and looked at Grey's eyes which had now turned red. Grey stopped caressing my face. "You are mine, Elena. And you must surrender your virginity to me." He growled deeply. "If you want that, then we have to make a contract, a deal," I said firmly. Grey pulled me close to his bare chest. "Do you understand?" I continued. Grey nodded his head slowly. "What do you want to pay for this deal?" Grey bent down, and his claws tickled my neck. "Allow me to stay here until I'm ready to take my revenge on alpha Fillan." "It's easy if you're willing to give up a gemstone in your body for me. So, I will help you to take revenge." He whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine. What stone is he talking about?
