Chapter 25
The next day was frustrating for Clay. With one day to go before the ship arrived at its planned destination the jobs Rostak gave him were all confined to one area of the cargo bay, and other people were working in the same area. He had no chance to explore, no chance to try to discover any hidden entrances within the cargo bay.
Zeek was back in the galley when Clay entered that evening. Clay sat with Zeek and two of those he’d been working alongside during the day.
While they ate Zeek told Clay what he knew about their destination, a relatively small station that performed a number of tasks adequately. Chief amongst them was growing food, small scale refining and light manufacturing.
