Chapter 17
A thrill ran through Sal as the Dark Shadow dropped into real space once more. The ship moved off, heading towards a small station which wasn’t even visible on the scanners yet. The Dark Shadow didn’t engage stealth. There was no need. They wanted to be seen coming this time.
The station was small and both populated and run by one extended family. It acted as a trading hub, a point where asteroid miners and other prospectors could bring in their spoils and trade for basics and luxuries. The Imperial records aboard the Dark Shadow said the station was a hub for smuggling too. That was the sole reason it managed to make ends meet.
