When I looked at my watch in the evening, I wondered what happened to the whole day. It just disappeared without notice. To be fair, the whole day I just focused on what would happen in the evening. I hate people who are not present in the moment but today I was one of them. I was relieved when it was the time for dinner, I even offered to cook it.
"Is everything ok?" Lee-Ann asked me as I was peeling potatoes for dinner. I was not preparing a feast, just a quick meal: chicken escalopes with potatoes and a side salad, simply using whatever I found around in the kitchen. Well, I did the shopping most of the time, so it wasn't exactly a surprise that I knew what was around.
"What do you mean?" Another potato peeled. I was trying to estimate if there are enough potatoes for everyone. I knew
