Cuddled up with a pillow and blanket, Ari was watching a movie on the large screen television in Adrian’s office apartment when the door opened. Her head jerked around at the sound of it, then when she saw Link helping Adrian walk through, she leapt off the couch and raced over to them. Flanking Adrian’s other side, she wrapped an arm around his waist, laying his arm on her shoulders as they walked him to the bed.
“What happened!” She asked Link, knowing Adrian would most likely downplay it anyway. Even so, Link looked to Adrian as if asking for permission to say anything. When the two men exchanged looks, the Lycan shook his head a little; Link didn’t offer much when he spoke.
