Walker had been freaking out. How could he not, with Kate not picking up her phone? He had learned what that prick Weber and his partner, Medina, had done. Basically, they had taken their very helpful witness and tossed her under the bus as would every other cop out there. Assholes!
He’d tracked her cell phone. Totally illegal, which he knew, but this was Kate, and after learning she no longer worked at the hotel, Walker was thinking some pretty bad thoughts.
