It wasn't a good morning text but Derrick could wake up to this. Heather had asked if they could meet within office hours and he even if it wasn't their designated time,he considered it a win. Nothing could dampen his spirits. At work Alex had noted his good mood and kept asking what had happened to bring it on but Derrick disclosed nothing.
