"Do you want me to go on? I promise to make it extra hurt."
They didn't answer. He pulled out the nails one by one but they didn't talk.
"Wait a minute, boys. I need to go get something."
He waked into the kitchen.
"Dude, the kid's crazy. He pulled out our f*****g nails without any distress. Who knows what else he can do?"
"I don't know dude. I'm sure not talking. And he's f*****g good at fighting. Did you see how he beat all of us without a sweat?"
"Yeah, honestly, I'll talk if he does anything more to me."
Alessandro walked in with a salt bottle. He said merrily,
"Boys, you need some salt?"
He pulled Argus's hand.
"Wh-What are you gonna do to me?"
"Do you want me to demonstrate? It'll be my pleasure."
He put some salt on the skin of the nail.
"NOOOOOO!!! f**k!!!! STOP!! I'll talk. I'll f*****g talk!"
"Dude. Don't."
"f*****g try to be in my shoe. It burned like hell."
"That's more like it. Now tell me why are you here?"
"My boss told me to come here and spy on you. But we figured you own money and we decided to hold you for ransom."
"Do you want to keep lying? Should I do that again?"
He hold his salt battle up.
"No. NO. I'm telling the truth, really."
"Ok. Now here's the deal. You are all gonna wear these gloves here and go back to your boss. Tell him there's nothing suspicious here. If I find any of you talk about this, I'll f*****g end your life, you hear me? I can end your life with a phone call."
"We-we understand."
"Good. Now go. If I find you again, I won't be sparing you again."
He shot five times with his pistol at the cuffs. His aim was accurate. The thugs were surprised by his aim. They quickly ran out. He shot because the whole mansion was soundproofed by Chan.
A minute later, Sara and Chan came out of their room.
"Did you really have to do that?"
"Yes. I need to find out what they know."
"And where did you learn how to fight like that? You were so calm, if I were you, I would be panicking to fight against five of them."
"That's something I would like to keep to myself. If you want, I can teach you."
"I'll pass. I would rather be working on the AI rather than being making my body tired."
"That's your loss."
"Hey, Chan. Can I talk to him for a minute?"
"Sure. I'll go."
"Alessandro, what happened to you?"
"Sara, I'm not the same person you knew. I changed 10 years ago during the Apocalypse. You changed too. You were the one to taught me these fighting tricks and torture tricks."
"I know that you went through a lot but try to be more compassionate next time."
"I'll try but I can not promise."
"That's all I ask."
The three girls were talking as they walked in and they stopped when they saw him.
"Boss, I didn't see you at the office."
"Yeah, I had an emergency. It's solved. Don't worry about it."
"Ok, boss." They proceeded to the kitchen and cook dinner.
"So, what was the emergency, boss?"
"Oh, nothing. Just some idiots came to kidnap me."
"Oh boss. Are you ok!?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. I can't say the same about them."
"Can I watch it?"
He was shocked by Xenia's question.
"What?"
"I just wanted to see you kick some ass. PLEASE??"
She looked at him with her big green eyes. He couldn't resist.
"Fine."
They all went to Chan's room. Alessandro knocked, "Can we come in?"
"Of course."
"Chan, they want to see my fight." Then he whispered to Chan, "Don't show the torture. I'm not sure they can handle it."
"Ok."
He opened the recording. The girls stared at it with wide eyes, filled with amazement. He closed it before the torture part.
"Oh god. How did you learn to fight like that? You were like Bruce Lee."
He laughed.
"I'm not that good. Anyway, let's eat dinner."
Him changing the subject didn't go unnoticed either.
"Sure."
They all sit around and talk about what they should do for the future.
"Girls, were you able to buy the island?"
"We're nearing a deal. It will cost around $100,000,000,000. Is it alright?"
$100,000,000,000 was expensive but he has around a trillion now but he keeps it all in separate bank accounts to dodge suspicion.
"It's good enough. What island did you decide to buy?"
"Buru island. It's in Indonesia. It has many islands surrounding it too. Just like you ask."
"Good."
"Are you sure the price is ok?"
"Yeah, don't worry about it. And after you buy it, I'll tell you what you need to do next."
"Ok boss."
After the business talk, they talked about more light hearted matters. They laughed and joke around like a big family. It certainly felt like one.
