I woke up after a few hours of sleep and decided to get some fresh air on the veranda of the room. There was only one bed in the room, and it had a spacious layout. As I was enjoying the breeze, I noticed Kaizen with another woman. She was wearing a black tube top and short shorts, and I felt irritated and uncomfortable. Kaizen and the woman were laughing together, and I wanted to know what they were talking about.
I stared at them from the veranda, but then Kaizen looked in my direction and saw me. His expression changed, and I quickly looked away and went back inside the room.
I was angry at him. I felt uncomfortable with another woman approaching him, especially when their clothes barely covered their bodies.
I don't know, am I feeling jealous? Jealous of what?
Lost in my thoughts, the door suddenly opened, and Kaizen appeared, smiling. I was annoyed with him.
"You're awake," he said tenderly, wearing a white tank top and black shorts.
I didn't respond to him, nor did I look at him, as if he wasn't there.
"Isla," he said my name, and I could hear his footsteps approaching me. "What's wrong, baby?" he asked.
"Hmp!" I stood up from the bed where I was sitting and went to the veranda, sitting on the bamboo chair.
He followed me, looking puzzled, probably wondering why I was acting like this. Well, it's his fault. He left me here while I was sleeping and went to flirt with another woman.
"Jealous?" he asked, making me turn my head in his direction.
"No! Never, why would I be?" I shouted, carried away by anger. I couldn't control myself from yelling.
"She's just asking for directions, okay? Don't be jealous, baby," he explained and approached me.
"Let's go, let's eat. I know you're hungry," he said daringly.
At first, I resisted, but when I heard my stomach growl, I quickly stood up and walked away in a huff.
I saw him trying to hold back his laughter. Damn! I hate him. He's just laughing there while I'm furious.
I hate you, Kai. Damn you!
I ordered pasta while Kaizen ordered a coffee and paired it with a sandwich. I ate in silence, with no intention of talking to him.
He just kept looking at me, making me feel so uncomfortable. Every bite of pasta felt like I couldn't swallow it properly, especially with Kaizen staring at me.
Unable to bear it any longer, I looked at him, eye to eye. "Is there something on my face?" I asked him.
"No, there's no dirt on your face, darling. It's beauty," he said, and I quickly looked away, feeling my face heat up from his words. I'm sure I'm blushing now, so I couldn't look him in the eye.
I continued eating until I almost choked, but Kaizen quickly reached for the water, even though it was on his side, and handed it to me.
I drank it immediately. "Are you okay, baby?" he asked, concerned.
"Why don't you choke instead? Why don't you try it?" I said irritably.
