“Oakley Rhea get back to your chambers at this instance. You are dismissed.” said my father, Late Alpha Matthew. He could Sense my tension and looked at me wearily. “Could he feel the warm Arua coming from me?” I was shell shook It felt as if I couldn’t move. He half yelled worriedly at me, “Now Oakley!” I scurried off. In a haze; confused... I asked myself why am I in such a Frenzy? Why is my heart trying to work overtime in my chest? It felt as If my inner walls were caving in. My legs were wobblily they felt like Jello... I thought to myself “What is that smell? Why is to so strong and entrancing” I couldn’t take my eyes off the door that led to the Pack’s Meeting Hall... My hazed mind finally simmered, and I asked myself... “Why do I feel so familiar to the tall, dark, mysteriously handsome He-Wolf that walked into my father’s chamber.” Was he here for the Council meeting? Was he an alpha? So many questions ran through my head. I didn’t realize the arms I bounced off until Abraham, my brother caught me asking, “Woah. Oak, What’s wrong? What has you in a scare... running and not paying attention? You know you must always watch your surroundings; you could have injured yourself or wor--” I cut Abe off and said, “I do not know what is happening, Father sent me away I.I-My chest hurts. I need to lie down for a beat.” In a worry Abraham mind-linked with Abigail and Fenna my Main servants, He ordered them to take me back to my chambers and to grab the pack healers as quickly as possible. Abby was quick to answer my brother as he was her mate. He stood in the middle of the hallway watching me and his mate walk towards my chambers. Abraham turned when his sister was out of sight, he mind-linked with Huxley and Matthis the packs strongest warriors, they were also his most trusted and best friends. He asked which one of them had time to check on Oakley while he was away for the council meeting and if they had added more warriors to the boarder since so many Alphas would be within, Matthis responded, “Yes Alpha we have added more warriors to patrol and will check in on her for you and keep you updated as the day goes by.” “perfect---,” Hux responded quickly, “I will go to her chamber and check on her the next shift change. Is everything all right Abe?” In one hand my brothers and I knew the troubles my sister faced. Hux always wanted to be the one to save her from her fate but if she did not find her mate her fated one before her 20th birthday, we would all be at a loss. With the knowledge we found from her return from being kidnapped she will need to find them fast. I fumed until Hux mind-linked again asking, “Brother is she okay?” “Yes, Hux she is fine just under the weather keep your claws off my sister, okay? Meet me in the pack’s hall after you have checked on her, I will brief you on the meeting and we can figure our next steps out. Hux and Matthis Mind-linked back, “Yes sir, see you soon.” My mate Mind-linked with me to let me know Oak was safe and the healers said, “her mind was exhausted, and she needed rest.” Abraham opened the doors of the Packs Hall and walked into the council meeting spotting the Alpha’s from the North and East. The North chairs held Alpha Archer and His Beta Lucas of The Blood Moon Pack, as well as their mates. Alpha Archer was the 3rd largest in our territory. Alpha Archers territory takes up most of the river and the mountains. Then you have the East chairs they hold Alpha Thomas and his Beta Isaac of The Dark Moon pack. Alpha Thomas’s territory is mostly made up of desert and a smidge of the forest., Alpha Thomas is still trying to repair the damage that was created from the rouge attacks last year, their mates accompanied them as well. The South and West chairs were empty..“Figures the South and West to be running late they always were.” I looked at my father's chair and saw him and his Old Beta Beckett sitting waiting for me to take my seat. I walked closer to my father and his Beta. I mind-linked father, “why did you send Oak away? Where are the other alphas? Do they realize how important this meeting is... Alpha Mayhem’s return cannot be a coincidence--” Alpha Matthew, “The North, South and East are here the west is at our border’s. As far as your sister goes, she does not need to hear this side of business. Yes, it is about her, but we need to not worry her just yet.” Abraham hissed, “The south is not here, or I would smell Alpha Keane’s stench the Onery Fecker.” Alpha Keane of The Blue Moon Pack was the 2nd largest in our territory, he was the most feared alongside our pack. The center of all territories is The Crescent Moon Pack... My pack is the largest out of all territories we reside in the forest and have a smidge of all 4 corners of each's territory. Alpha Keane’s territory is the mountains and great lake, Keane and Alpha Klaus have a treaty over the small Forrest as the middle is the cut for both of their territories. I was enraged... “Oakley should be here her body is locked in a cage because of Alpha Mayhem she should know his presence is back and that she is no longer safe.” I was cut off when the door busted open and in walked the rest of the Alphas. Alpha Keane and I locked eyes, I hated him the most for letting his father steal my sister. He knew his father was mentally insane and did not bring it to the council’s attention. Alpha Mayhem Killed Keane’s Mother his fated mate and his twin sister the same night he breached our territory and snatched my sister. He ran through enemy territory with her putting her in immediate danger as she was only just a pup. He had no motive as to why he done what he did. He was off his rocker when we found him... Thea our Pack’s witch told my father her curse was unknown... He was sentenced to death but escaped our dungeon before he could accept his fate and now, he was back but why? My thoughts broke when I was mind-linked by father, “settle down boy I can feel the rage coming from your skin. If you cannot control yourself, you need to exit the room.” I fought with Ruger, my wolf, telling him to calm down that there was no danger. At least not yet. The testosterone coursing through this room was electrifying. It felt as if everyone was one hair short of releasing their wolf. They were not certain why they were called here today,, and it had everyone on high alert... Dad has always been better at concealing his emotions with speeches then I have ever been, that is why I asked him to take point in today’s meeting as he may be fuming with rage, but you would never know it from his posture or voice. Abby and Fenna walked me to my chambers... The walk felt like hours when it was only a couple of minutes, I was whooped, it felt like every nerve coursing through my body was on fire. “Can I sit down I am feeling a bit woozy... Fenna, “Yes Oakley, sit please. Why don’t you go ahead and get comfortable I will call for the Pack healers and send word for Thea.” A few minutes passed and that is when I realized she had responded but why was she screaming? All my senses were heightened... “f**k why is it so hot in here?” What the actual hell is happening to me? I was flustered but at the same I was f*****g pissed. My body was rioting against me before I knew it the room was spinning, and it went pitch black, I could hear all the commotion around me, but I could not react. The next thing I knew my body was convulsing, I was jerking back and forth. It hurts to breathe... My eyes were open, yet I could not see two-foot Infront of my face. I was on the verge of losing my mind when I felt someone rubbing up and down my arm... “Oakley, I am here everything is going to be okay. I promise you I will not leave I will be right here, and I will help you feel better you just have to trust me.” I heaved a grateful sigh. Baylee my best friend/ intern at the Pack healer's office... My heart was happy to hear her sweet words... They were like music to my ears... Just as I had the thought, she started humming our childhood song I tried to hum back but I was frozen... Thank the goddess she was here she would not let anything bad happen to me. At least I hoped she would not we had been through hell together more than once and came out all right in the end... This time would be just the same... I hope. I tried to zone in on her words, her breathing, but it was faint over my heartbeat and ringing ears... Was I losing it? Was I going to die? I am not even 20 yet... f**k you Alpha Mayhem and whatever you did to me. I wish I could remember that would save me right now. Only the goddess would know, and I feel as if I am about to meet her. Baylee’s voice sounded a million miles away and all I saw was black.
