She lands the biggest contract of her career: planning an exclusive luxury retreat for billionaire entrepreneur Adrian Knight, a charismatic man famous for his lavish lifestyle, irresistible charm, and a reputation for never committing to anyone.

Adrian enjoys attention, expensive pleasures, and a carefree life, but beneath the glamorous image lies a lonely man haunted by a promise he broke years ago.

Their attraction is immediate, but both refuse to act on it.

As they work together, jealousy, misunderstandings, old lovers, and ambitious rivals threaten to destroy the growing trust between them. Every glamorous event brings new temptations, hidden agendas, and emotional conflicts.

Then Sienna discovers Adrian's company is being sabotaged from within—and the prime suspect is someone she has come to trust.

Just as Adrian decides to leave his old lifestyle behind and commit to Sienna, a woman arrives claiming to be carrying his child.

Everything falls apart.

Months later, the truth emerges: the pregnancy was fabricated as part of ascheme to seize Adrian's company. The real enemy is someone from his own family.

Adrian and Sienna must decide whether love built on broken trust can survive one final betrayal.

Chapter One The man every woman wanted
The ballroom of the Grand Aurora Hotel shimmered beneath crystal chandeliers, where the city's wealthiest guests gathered for the annual Knight Foundation Charity Gala. Diamonds sparkled beneath soft golden lights, violins played in the background, and photographers captured every smile that money could buy. For Sienna Hart, none of it mattered. She wasn't there to admire the luxury. She was there to make sure every second unfolded perfectly. "Table twelve needs fresh flowers," she instructed into her headset. "Move the media wall two feet to the left, and make sure Mr. Knight's speech starts exactly at eight-thirty." At twenty-six, Sienna had built a reputation as one of the most talented luxury event planners in the city. Clients praised her perfectionism, but few knew it came from a painful lesson. A year earlier, she had walked into her apartment and discovered her fiancé kissing her best friend. Since then, she had promised herself never to confuse attraction with love again. She trusted schedules. Not people. Especially not charming men. "Miss Hart." Her assistant hurried over. "He's here." Sienna didn't need to ask who. There was only one guest important enough to make the room hold its breath. Adrian Knight. The billionaire everyone admired. The bachelor every magazine wanted on its cover. The man whose smile had broken more hearts than anyone could count. Outside, a convoy of sleek black cars stopped at the entrance. The doors opened. Adrian Knight stepped out wearing a perfectly tailored midnight-blue tuxedo. Confident. Handsome. Effortlessly composed. Camera flashes lit up the night. He acknowledged reporters with an easy smile before making his way inside. Women openly admired him. Businessmen rushed to shake his hand. Adrian accepted the attention politely, though none of it truly interested him anymore. He had spent years surrounded by beautiful faces and expensive pleasures, yet every night, he returned to an empty penthouse. Sometimes, success was the loneliest place in the world. As he entered the ballroom, his assistant leaned closer. "Your schedule is full until midnight." Adrian sighed. "When was the last time you gave me good news?" His assistant laughed. "I'll let you know when I find some." Meanwhile, Sienna was checking the seating arrangement when someone bumped into her shoulder. Her folder slipped from her hands. Sheets of paper scattered across the polished marble floor. "Oh no..." Before she could kneel, another hand reached for the papers. Long fingers picked up the last page and held it out to her. She looked up. Grey eyes met hers. For a brief moment, neither of them spoke. "You dropped this," Adrian said. His voice was calm, warm, and unexpectedly gentle. "Thank you." She accepted the page without hesitation. No nervous smile. No attempt to impress him. No lingering conversation. She simply nodded. "Enjoy your evening, Mr. Knight." Then she walked away. Adrian blinked. His assistant noticed immediately. "Something wrong?" "She didn't recognize me." His assistant raised an eyebrow. "She definitely did." "No." Adrian watched Sienna disappear into the crowd. "She simply wasn't interested." For reasons he couldn't explain... He found that refreshing. Hours later, the gala was in full swing. Sienna moved gracefully from one task to another, solving problems before anyone else noticed them. She caught waiters before they spilled champagne. She calmed nervous speakers. She fixed lighting problems within minutes. From across the room, Adrian found himself watching her more often than he intended. She never stopped moving. Never sought attention. Never once looked in his direction. "You've been staring for five minutes," his friend Ethan teased. "I've been observing." "That's what men say when they're interested." Adrian chuckled. "I don't even know her." "Then go introduce yourself." "I'm here for business." "So is she." Ethan grinned. That has never stopped you before." Before Adrian could answer, the lights suddenly flickered. The music stopped. The ballroom fell silent. A loud crash echoed from the second floor. Guests gasped. One of the decorative platforms had partially collapsed. People rushed toward the exits in panic. Without hesitation, Sienna climbed the damaged staircase despite security trying to stop her. "Miss Hart!" "It's not stable!" "I know." She disappeared into the darkness above. Minutes later, she emerged holding the hand of an elderly woman who had been trapped behind fallen decorations. The crowd erupted into applause. Adrian watched in disbelief. Most people would have waited for security. She hadn't hesitated for a second. She simply acted. Later that evening, after emergency crews declared the ballroom safe, Adrian found Sienna alone on the rooftop terrace overlooking the city skyline. "You handled tonight remarkably well," he said. She glanced at him. "I was just doing my job." "You risked getting hurt." "So did your security." "They're paid to." "And I was responsible for every guest in that room." There was conviction in her voice. No arrogance. Just quiet confidence. Adrian smiled. "I've been trying to think of a way to thank you." "You already have." "I have?" "By supporting charities that actually help people." For the first time in weeks... Adrian laughed. A genuine laugh. "I'd like to hire you." "I'm not looking for another client." "You haven't heard the offer." I've learned not to mix work with powerful men." Her answer surprised him. "That's oddly specific." "It comes from experience." For the first time, her smile disappeared. Adrian noticed the sadness hidden behind her eyes. Before he could ask another question, his assistant hurried onto the terrace. "Mr. Knight." His expression turned serious. "What is it?" "We've got a problem." He handed Adrian a tablet. The billionaire's face immediately hardened. Someone had leaked confidential financial documents from inside his company. Millions were already reacting online. Only five executives had access to those files. Which meant... Someone close to him had betrayed him. As Adrian stared at the screen, he looked back toward Sienna. She had already disappeared into the crowd below. He didn't know why. But something told him their paths had crossed for a reason. Neither of them realized that before the week was over, one would become the other's greatest temptation... ...and someone was already planning to use that attraction to destroy them both.
