Gabriel held me close as he walked me towards his car. His hand gently grasped my waist, his chin against the top of my head. I smiled, scooting in closer and placing my hand on his abdomen. He tightened his hold on me before ultimately pulling away from me and holding the door open. The carnival had closed for the night and people were returning to their vehicles for the night. I sat in the passenger seat, flashing a smile in Gabe’s direction as he closed the door for me. He bit his lip, probably feeling shy after the intimate encounters we had today and sat in the driver’s seat.
