I raised a brow at Nico. “What explaining is that, exactly? I mean, if anyone has explaining to do…”
Nico looked away, sighing without a word.
His brother, Gabe, laid back down with an annoyed groan. I looked at Gabe in amusement. He shot me a smirk, his hand tracing another intangible pattern across my backside. “Nico, what do you want?”
“Dad’s not happy with you.” Nico crossed his arms, shooting us both a frown. “Or you, Kim.”
I rolled my eyes, laying back down alongside Gabriel. I was incredibly tired… “It’s like, night. Can’t we just rest?”
“Where were you two?” He asked. When we didn’t answer right away, he only sighed and waved it off. “Nevermind- it doesn’t matter. What matters is that there was another murder. And there’s reports of missing humans-“
