Of all the things that could have happened recently, the last thing Tamlin expected was the sudden opening of the mind link for the first time since they’d become mates. Normally she would have been furious, but at whom? She knew deep down the bond was acting on its own accord.
It was Helion’s sudden care she wanted to reject so badly, yet she couldn’t.
What could she even reject? The thoughtful gesture of making her breakfast? Especially when she hadn't eaten properly the day before?
Enjoying her breakfast, she ignored her mate's threatening tone as he reprimanded the others for allowing themselves to wake up so late on a mission.
