Battlefield of the Forgotten

1005 Words
The moment Harsh grasped the ancient, pitch-black Rudraksha bead from the Sadhu in his right hand, his eyes widened in sheer disbelief. A psychic explosion tore through his mind, abruptly severing his consciousness from the present world and violently throwing him back into a brutal, 500-year-old battlefield. He witnessed a sky that looked nothing like the ordinary heavens—it was stained a horrific, deep crimson red. The blood-drenched soil below was littered with severed limbs and fallen corpses, the earth completely soaked in crimson blood. Heavy smoke and raging embers drifted through the humid air. Clashing steel and agonizing screams resonated across the desolate landscape. Standing amidst the s*******r, Harsh spotted Mahakaal standing face-to-face with the Crimson-Eyed Warrior. Surrounding them was a massive horde of 20 to 25 terrifying Demonic Monsters. Leading the horde was a towering eight-foot-tall demonic warlord, wielding a razor-sharp blade that glowed with intense red fire. The crimson-eyed warrior was not alone within the circle; fighting alongside him were 4 to 5 elite, battle-hardened companions. Covered head-to-toe in dark blood, these companions fought relentlessly, tearing through demonic flesh and bone. However, the demonic horde was overwhelming. Suddenly, the monster leader lunged forward, plunging his glowing red blade deep into the crimson-eyed warrior's midsection! RIPPP! The sharp blade pierced entirely through the warrior's body. The crimson-eyed warrior screamed in agonizing pain, collapsing onto his knees as blood gushed from his lips. The moment he hit the dirt, the remaining hungry beasts swarmed over his body to tear him apart! Standing nearby, Mahakaal witnessed the horrific sight and flew into an apocalyptic cosmic rage. Raising both arms toward the red sky, the heavens shifted dramatically within two seconds—turning into a terrifying, swirling expanse of Blackish-Violet as violent lightning tore through the dark clouds. The sacred OM (ॐ) emblem ignited on Mahakaal's left palm, while the blazing SERA sigil flared on his right! BOOMMMMM! A catastrophic bolt of violet lightning struck the earth, manifesting a blazing celestial Trishul directly into Mahakaal's grip! Gathering his full divine wrath, Mahakaal hurled the Trishul toward the demonic horde— SWOOSH! The instant the Trishul flew across the sky, the 500-year-old flashback shattered into dust! Harsh bolted awake, screaming at the top of his lungs! The Rudraksha bead in his hand had turned as hot as molten iron, burning his palm severely. Gasping in pain, he tried to drop it, but the 90-year-old Sadhu caught the bead mid-air! Pressing it firmly back into Harsh's trembling palm, the Sadhu instructed: "No matter how hot it gets, do not let go of this Rudraksha. Keep it close—it will protect your soul." The Sadhu added in a deep, booming voice: "What you witnessed... was merely a tiny fragment of a memory, Harsh. The truth is far more horrific than you can fathom." Harsh sat in absolute shock, his entire body trembling violently as cold sweat drenched his clothes. The Sadhu delivered a final, chilling warning: "Do not leave this temple tonight under any circumstances. Someone is hunting you." Panicking, Harsh pleaded: "Who? Who is hunting me, Baba? Please tell me!" But the Sadhu offered no response, returning to his silent meditation. Meanwhile, back at the hotel room, Natasha sat glued to her laptop screen, her face pale with anxiety. She had emailed the microscopic and chemical analysis of Mahakaal's blood sample to a renowned senior research Professor in Varanasi to help identify the mysterious crystal substance. Roughly 30 minutes later, a reply notification popped up on her screen. Natasha clicked open the email... and her blood ran cold! There was no scientific explanation inside, only a direct, ominous warning: "Destroy this sample immediately, Natasha! Any research on this biological sample is strictly BANNED! If anyone discovers you possess this sample... your life will be in grave danger!" Natasha sat paralyzed with fear. Overwhelmed, she frantically dialed the Professor's private line... but the call failed to connect. The line was completely dead! Terrified, Natasha concealed the sample tube deep inside a hidden pocket of her bag and collapsed onto her bed. A storm of unanswered questions raced through her mind: Why did the Professor issue such a dire warning? Whose blood sample is this? And how is Mahakaal connected to this forbidden secret? Concurrently... deep inside the subterranean chamber beneath the city, absolute dread filled the air. In the dark shadows of the altar room, the towering silhouette of the SHADOW EXECUTIONER materialized for the very first time. He wielded a terrifying, glowing red shadow blade emitting dark cosmic energy. Kneeling reverently before him was a massive, powerful warrior, bowing his head like a loyal servant waiting for his master's command. The Cult Leader commanded in a hard, booming voice: "Executioner... find the Host and eliminate him before the Mahakaal within him fully awakens!" 1:00 AM - Ancient Shiva Temple. Harsh and the 80-year-old Sadhu sat in deep silence inside the quiet temple sanctum. A dim oil lamp cast flickering shadows against the stone walls. Harsh repeatedly questioned the old man: "Who was that crimson-eyed warrior? Where was that ancient battlefield? Please tell me, Baba, my head is spinning!" However, the Sadhu remained completely mute, as if waiting for an inevitable arrival. Suddenly... slow, heavy footsteps echoed through the silent darkness outside the temple gates— THAK... THAK... THAK... A cold, decaying metallic odor drifted into the room. The Sadhu glanced toward the main entrance, his eyes widening in subtle terror: "He has arrived..." Harsh asked nervously: "Who? Who is out there, Baba?" The Sadhu didn't reply, his eyes locked onto the pitch-black abyss beyond the main archway. Harsh followed his gaze toward the dark entrance... Within the dark shadows outside the temple, two glowing Crimson-Red Eyes slowly opened! Whose Crimson-Red eyes are glowing in the darkness outside the temple? Is it the Cult's terrifying Shadow Executioner... or the 500-year-old Crimson-Eyed Warrior from Harsh's vision? And why did the Professor order Natasha to destroy Mahakaal's blood sample immediately?
