“The cases you’re handling will be transferred and continued by another team,” the chief bluntly says with an expressionless tone. With a heavy and pained heart, I raise the paper in front of my chest and read the rest of what the letter says. Hiccups begin slipping from my mouth. My head barely comprehends what’s written on it, all I know is…I am suspended indefinitely due to my negligence in withholding the evidences I’ve gathered only to myself.
