Serah gaped at Asher dubiously. "And how did you come to that conclusion?"
"The inscription at the bottom of the picture. It says it all."
She glanced at the letterings, but it was too small and she couldn't decipher it.
Asher's eyes grew stormy as he went on. "From the beginning I found it strange why I couldn't control my reactions in all matters regarding you. I even let myself be fooled into believing it was love." He snorted. "But it turned out it was all fake."
Her heart broke all over again at these words. "Indeed it was." She said bitterly. "All it took was this picture to completely change your opinion. From the start you never loved me. I was the one who was fooled here." Her voice broke at the end of her sentence and she lowered her head, willing herself to not break down.
