The next day, Serah was rushing to her class after the break when someone suddenly grabbed her from the side. She let out an inaudible gasp when she felt herself being pulled away. Swiftly recovering from the shock, she reached out and scratched at the hand which held her. “Serah, calm down! It’s me.” A familiar voice murmured urgently. She blinked in astonishment at Asher who stood a short distance from her. Her gaze then lowered to his arm where her nails had torn at his skin, causing blood to well to the surface.
