"What makes you think I don't trust you?" Asher asked her.
"You made it clear from the start!" She exclaimed. "Haven't you been doubting that I'm one of your enemies all along?"
He frowned. "That was only in the beginning."
She stared at him skeptically. "You mean you don't doubt me anymore? Then why am I being interrogated right now?"
"Just give me a proper explanation and it will all be fine." He said reasonably. "Why have you been letting those vampires get close to you? Why did you reach out to Gareth instead of me?"
"I don't like having to explain myself at every turn!" She exclaimed.
His eyes narrowed. "You never once bothered giving me any proper explanation. But I still decided to trust you. If I didn't you think I would have brought you here?"
She huffed out in frustratio
