Bella's POV I woke up to the sound of my alarm as it blared loudly into my ears and I reluctantly got up from bed. Ahhhhh, it's morning already?.....gosh I yawned a little, then I went straight to the bathroom to have my bath. A few minutes later, I came out and got dressed, did some make-over to brighten my face. I checked myself in the mirror and after that I went out of my room to the living room. "Good morning ma'am" the maid greeted me as I went to the living room. "Good morning, Lily" I replied. "Breakfast is ready" she said. "Oh that's good" I said, then went to the dining table to have it. "Is my driver here?" I asked. "Yes...... he's outside" she replied. "That's great" I said, then picked up a spoon and started eating. A few minutes later, I grabbed my bag and went out. I saw the driver in the car and he opened the door for me. "Morning ma'am" he greeted. "Morning Andrew", I answered, then I entered the car and he drove off. Frank's POV I opened my eyes groggily as the ray of light shined through my eyes. I realized it's morning already. I turned, then saw a naked body on the bed and I smiled, remembering the s****l event that took place. I wrapped my hands around her and coupled her cleavage to get her up and she made a soft moan. The girl on the bed right now has been on my radar for some time now. We've only been flirting with each other but I decided not to go further because she had a boyfriend. Yeah, they broke up and when she told me the news I couldn't have been happier than I made my move immediately. Yesternight was pretty intense. I can't believe this girl can be that broad and energetic, remembering the event is arousing me all over again. I took my phone to check the time. I got the shock of my life, which caused me to sprang up immediately. 'Oh God, I'm late", I shouted, shocked, then sprang up and turned to the girl. 'Hey, wake up, it's morning, I have to go to work' I said to the girl who just wiggled, then I dashed to the bathroom immediately. I can't believe I slept that long. That must be the result of the broad night we had. I didn't waste much time in the bathroom, then I came out naked and went to my closet to dress. I picked out a shirt and trousers, then I turned to see the girl still on the bed. " Hey Clara, if you don't have anywhere to go, well I do......so do me a favor and get your fat ass off that bed", I said and she stood up reluctantly. "You didn't tell me you would be going out. I thought you and I would be here all day" she said. "Uuuhhh?......why would you think that way.....only a jobless person will tell you something like that" I said, putting on my tie. "I was even thinking we'd have a morning romp. It seemed like it was not gonna happen" she said, coming closer to me. "Sorry to disappoint you but you need to put on some clothes" I said, fastening my shoes. "Can we just have a quickie before you go.......it's not gonna take time" she said, rubbing her hands over my body. 'whaaaat?......Are you kidding me? "Now I know you're sent by my enemies in Nigeria to ruin my life, by the time I'm done dressing I expect you to be dressed as well, cause if not I'll throw you out like that" I said strongly. "You'rre joking, right? She asked. "You wanna find out? I countered. "But I haven't had my bath yet?" She said but I ignored her and she quickly went to get her clothes and started putting it on. "You're crazy Frankie....you can't just treat me like some hooker......f**k you" she Cursed. "I'm sorry Love, you can't blame me, I don't joke about my job" I said, standing up ready to go. "Are you ready?......or do you want me to help you out? I said, heading to the door, and she quickly rushed out. I locked my door and went to my car, then ignited the car and drove out. I drove as fast as I could, praying and hoping I wouldn't meet up with my boss by the time I got to work. A few minutes later, I got to work and, with the atmosphere on the ground, it meant only one thing: the boss is yet to arrive. "Heyy Sharon" I said to the receptionist, giving her a warm smile which she reciprocated by smiling shyly. "Good morning Mr. Nelson" she said. "Heyy umm, can you do me a favor.....you know by helping me with the sign in.....I woudn't wanna be on the boss bad side" I said. "Don't worry about it......it's sorted" she said. "Ohh...... that's very darling of you, thanks" I replied, then tried to head off. "What about what we talked about the other day?" She asked. "Don't worry Love, I'll put it under consideration, I said, then going ahead to my desk. Yeah, that's Sharon. She's been hitting on me ever since she got here. I might be a Playboy, but I know what I want and she's not in any way near that. "Heyy, Frankie boy" one of my female colleagues said. "Laura boy, you're looking damn hot today" I said. "Really?.....thanks" she said, sitting at her desk. "Don't worry baby.......you'll be mine soon" I said, passing by. "Don't even dream about it" I heard her saying. "Heyyy man.....you're late, my colleague Damien said. "Yeah......woke up late" I said. "Lemme guess, midnight rump" he said. "Something like that? I said, then sat down at my desk. "You're lucky the boss also came late" he said. "Yeah, I guess I should be called lucky" I said, then we heard some rumbling among our colleagues. "She's here......everyone the boss is here" one of them said and everyone quickly stood up to their feet. Then the elevator dined and there she was in all her beauty. She stood there looking magnificent like a queen. "God, isn't she stunning?.....this is my ideal woman mhenn.....I want this woman badly, she's just too perfect" I said. "You realize that's our boss you're talking about?" Andrew said. "Of course I know that" I said, staring at her. "You also know that she's engaged, right? And she does know all about you......you know what I mean" he said. "Yeah I know.....one of the reasons I didn't even try to make any move, damn, see that shape hen" I said. * "The only reason I bought this building was because it has a private elevator" the boss said as she entered. "That way, I don't have to get soaked in cheap cologne every morning, get to my office, find out who uses it, have them reprimanded, or bathed, I don't care which ......" "Here's your latte, Hot" her secretary said, handling her coffee. "Ugh.....that will be new and different" the boss said. They went to her office and everyone sat down. Author's POV "I have a meeting with the board members today at lunch, so cancel lunch with my fiancee" Bella said to her secretary as they went to her office. "Got it" the secretary said. "Also, I've emailed a list, prepared termination letters for the employees as noted. I realize that there are quite a few." "But it would be so nice if you handwrote them, handwritten card stock" "You're downsizing the workers?" the secretary asked, surprised. "Why?......is there a problem?" "No, ma'am, but that was your first acquisition", the secretary said. "Go see if the layout for the project is ready" she said. "It's not that I don't see your frown, it's just that I don't care enough to ask why it's there," she added. "All those people are going to lose their jobs...... what's going to happen to them, to their families? ......they don't have to downsize at the company", Secretary said. "Why would I care about that?......they are to be blamed for their incompetence, this company got to this stage by working hard" she said. "But t......" "You're my secretary Stella, and you'll do as I said........you're lucky I like you if you know what will happen," she said. "Sorry ma'am, I'll get it done right away" the secretary said, and she turned to leave. "Tell the director to see me right away" she said. "Okay" the secretary said, then she went out. Frank's POV I was at my desk working on my laptop and chitchatting with Damien when the boss's secretary came. Frank, Miss Richmond wants you in her office right away" she said. "Wait Stella, what's it about?" I asked. "I don't know....you have to go find out" she said, then left. "Do you think it's about me coming late this morning?....I think she's gonna fire me" I asked Damien. "C'mon Frank, you're the director, she can't just fire you like that" Damien said. "You know that's not true at all. The previous director was sacked for missing two days'job", I said. "Then you will have to use your charm on her" Damien said. "You know that's not possible......it's more like my charm doesn't work on her". I stood up. "I guess I'll do that" I said, then went straight to her office. I got to her office, then knocked and she asked me to come and I entered. "You called for me" I said as I entered. "Yeah, actually there's something I need to talk to you about" she said, and I was relieved because I'm not getting fired. "What is it about? I asked. "Yeah, I just want to ask.....how do you do it? She asked and I was confused. "Do what?" I asked. "I'm very impressed with what you've been doing in this company, especially with how you helped us secure so many deals" she said, and I smiled. "I don't think that should be a question......it's my job to make sure this company is successful" I replied. "It's just that with you something like that seems easy, like yesterday I was trying to secure a contract with one of our clients but she's giving me a hard time," she said. "So I was thinking you and I could go over to her and try to convince her" she added, and I was lost in thought. 'Oh no it's never going to work out...... I'm never going to be comfortable around her, especially with something like that.' 'how will I tell her I can't have her there with me? I will never concentrate and there's a possibility we might lose this contract' "Did you hear what's just said?" She asked me out of my reverie. "You said? I asked. "You mean you didn't hear what I just said? She asked. "Sorry ma'am, I was lost in thought" I replied. "What are you thinking? "Nothing, ma'am." "Get yourself together, I said we are leaving in ten minutes" she said. "Ma'am, I don't think you should come along....... I'll just take care of it" I said. "This is not just any contract.......it's a very important one, so I'm going" she said. "But ma'am it............" "What's wrong with you all today.....why are you all trying to tell me what to do?" she said. "Listen, I'm the boss here.......and when I said I'm going, then I'm going......you didn't tell me what to do......and be careful and do you try to mess this up" she said. "Yes ma'am" I replied. "Get out and wait for me in the garage" she said, then I went out. "Uh uh .........I'm very certain this is not going to end well"
