Although I fell asleep before I knew it because of the inebriation, I still had a vague memory of Amber hugging me for a long time in silence. It was already late at night by the time I woke up. I rubbed the back of my sore neck as I pushed myself into a sitting position with a parched throat and a still drowsy head.
"You're awake, sir." A spotless hand reached toward me from aside while holding a glass of water as its owner continued in a soft voice, "You must be feeling unwell, sir. Please have some water first."
"Violet?" I looked at Violet, who was sitting next to me in surprise, and turned around to check the surroundings. "Why are you here? Where's Amber?"
