I was not expecting to see someone at the door, and Ruby was not expecting me to turn around all of a sudden.
When our eyes met, Ruby jumped a little and backpedaled with a panicked expression on her face. She did not leave, however. In fact, after she had regained control of herself, she actually returned to the door and stared at Rose and I as if I had not just caught her peeping.
