I could not believe my ears as it made little sense for Amber Excell to discuss the Macro Group's offer to invest in Blossom Technologies with me. Although the Macro Group was a well-known investment firm in the country, it was just a cog in the business enterprise machine known as the Excell Group.
Amber Excell was the new head of the Excells and was someone who supervised the entire Excell Group. There was simply no need for her to come in person to discuss the matter of funding Blossom Technologies, as sending the chairman of the Macro Group was more than enough. I chuckled after recovering my senses and said, "Fine. Have someone pick her up from the airport and book a private room in a restaurant for me. Tell them to take her to the restaurant directly once she lands."
