“f**k!” Ethan cussed out and quickly dodged my punch, but my fist still ended up landing on his shoulder, making him stagger back a few steps, forcing him to stabilize his footing by pushing against the wall near him.
He failed to recognize me because of the poor lighting and thought that someone had come to take revenge on him. He grabbed the baseball bat near to him the moment he stabilized his footing and charged toward me with no hesitation. Ethan then heavily swung the bat in toward my head with a fierce look on his face.
“This brat… He’s still so reckless.” I chuckled internally, shifting my feet slightly to avoid the bat approaching me with ease and kicked at Ethan’s chest with lightning-fast speed. Ethan flew back and crashed to the ground with a thud.
