I had no idea how long I’d been here for. All I know is that my friends were dead, and he had chosen to keep me alive, but why?
He had everything he wanted. He even had my girl. There was no way of me being able to get out of here, unless I could get out of these binds and kill everyone here. There were no windows to escape through.
The only door was bolted shut and guards standing outside twenty-four seven. For me to escape I’d have to be damn lucky. I knew that he wanted to torture me for the things that I had done to Tiara, but they were no worse than what he had made her endure for four years.
The bolts clanked as they were unlocked. I knew who was coming to see me, he’d done it every f*****g day since he’d locked me up and made sure the guards scared the living s**t out of me.
I know I feel like s**t right now and I possibly look worse. The door closed, I knew he wasn’t alone by the six sets of well-polished boots.
I looked up grinning. “So what’s the special occasion?”
He sent daggers my way, which meant big business. I’d seen it all too many times before.
“Where is she, asshole?” He barked, angrily
“Who?” I asked, playing dumb. I knew exactly who he was on about. Tiara.
“Tiara?”
“I don’t know.”
The backhand went across my face, splitting my lip. I spat out the blood, grinning, god I f*****g hated this asshole.
.Where the f**k is she?” He barked again.
I laughed, being sarcastic. I couldn’t help but reply. “So she finally left you? How does it feel, Shaun? Tell me how does it feel that the angel in all of this didn’t fall and ran?”
“Did you have anything to do with this?” He asked.
“How the hell am I supposed to have anything to do with this Shaun? I’m here, you killed my friends.”
“And I’ll kill you too, if I find out you had anything to do with this.”
“Well I don’t. But I’ll tell you one thing, once I get out of here, there won’t be any stopping me from finding her and making sure she is with me once again.”
Shaun pointed the gun, cranking it. The bullet went through my chest. I screamed out.
Shit I took it too far.
“That will be the only warning. I will ever give you. Next time I’ll put a bullet through your skull. And you’ll never get out of here before I kill you.”
“If you wanted to kill me you would’ve already.”
“Don't tempt me asshole. I’m going to make sure that you have a slow and painful death.”
“Promises promises.”
Without warning, the gun struck the side of my head. My eyes rolled and I blacked out.
I slowly came around, my head throbbing having no clue how long I’d been out for, but I knew one thing: I had to get out of here and find Tiara before he did.
