I slowly came around. I had no idea how long I’d been out for. All I know is that my head was pounding.
Last thing that I remember was I was going to the Golden Arrow for drinks to try and ease my mind.
I had been thinking about Tiara non-stop since she had left college that day with her friends. I was proud of her for making that decision even if her friends had helped her get out and not me. I couldn’t believe Shaun that day.
He stared coldly at me. “You will never see or go anywhere Tiara ever again, are we clear?”
“What?”
“You heard. You are never to see her ever again, do I make myself clear?”
“She’s not even here, and you're throwing your bullshit at me. I’m your friend Shaun, not your f*****g enemy.”
“You made yourself my enemy the day you thought about taking Tiara away from me.”
“She deserved better.”
“You’re no better than me. Just remember that, Reece. Now out of my way I have nothing left to say to a traitor, like you, our friendship is terminated.” He said, glaring daggers at me before storming off.
Had I really ruined our friendship with some girl? If that's the case, so be it, cause when I find her I’m going to make sure he never gets her back.
I looked around the dark and damp room. It looked like a cell. There was no way of me being able to get out of here, unless I could get out of these bounds.
The only means of escape was a large wooden door. Where the hell was I? The bolts clanked as they were unlocked. I guess I’d get my answer who it was holding me here for no f*****g reason at all.
The door closed, and I knew he wasn’t alone in the six sets of well-polished boots. I looked up. No, this can't be happening. “Shaun what the f**k?”
He sent daggers my way, which meant big business. “Where is she, asshole?” He barked, angrily.
“Who?” I asked, not knowing what the hell he was talking about.
“Tiara.”
“I don’t know. I haven’t seen her since college was over. You told me not to go anywhere near, so I didn’t.”
The back of his hand went across my face, splitting my lip. I spat out the blood. “f**k Shaun, what the f**k was that for?’
“Where the f**k is she?” He barked again.
“How the f**k am I supposed to know? Like I said, I haven’t seen her since college ended.”
“So where the f**k have you been hiding?”
“If I was, I didn’t hide well enough as you found me.” I retorted.
“So...say I believe you, you would be willing to help me find her?”
“f**k no. You told me to stay the f**k away. You told me we were no longer friends.”
“And what would you say...if I said I’d pay you?”
“f**k you Shaun. If she wanted to be found she would’ve been. I have nothing to do with this, you lost her. You f*****g find her.”
“I f*****g did, some prick kidnapped her and I want to know who.”
“Well it’s not me, or she’d be with me, wouldn't she?”
He looked at me, and he looked in deep thought. Then he finally answered. “You know what, you’re right, you’re dumb enough to keep her with you and when I found you I would’ve found her too. So she’s either with that bitchy friend of hers or someone is trying to get on my last nerve.” He said before walking away. “Enjoy your stay.”
“But I..”
“I’ll let you go once I’ve found Tiara, so until then, enjoy your stay.” He said, as the guard opened the door and they all walked away, closing and locking the door.
Fuck I had to get out of here and find her. I'd been searching for her for five years, and he’d found her, but at a guess, he had, by pure luck, and that’s what I’d do just to save her from him.
