Sara’s POV
After showering, I got dressed and went back to Christian’s room to check up on him. Kai and Levi had already cleaned his wounds and dressed them. The two avoided looking at me when I walked closer to the bed.
“You look much better,” I said, attempting to lighten up the atmosphere a bit. Kai and Levi were seriously ruining the mood.
“I feel much better,” Christian replied, giving me a soft smile. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach, and I smiled back. Heavens, his smile was so beautiful. If only he smiled more–
“So, how did you end up like this?” Levi asked, “I thought you were in trouble with your Beta.”
