Beta Rose P.O.V

Driving the car to the Blue Moon pack I look over at Alpha Ryan why are we going here? It’s a s**t pack there weak, there’s nothing they have that we could possibly need that we can’t get from someone else. Ryan just looks at me with a look of, I already told you and the more you b***h like a baby the more I will make this trip hell for you. I hit the wheel and keep driving he knows how much I hate this pack. I had a boyfriend from this pack about 4 years ago and he was the worst hit me a couple times till I broke his arm then we broke up I found out that he had been sleeping with loads of girls behind my back. I better not see him while I’m here or I will kick his ass again.

Pulling up to the pack house I look at Ryan, look at the state of this s**t whole. You must get out as we are staying here for a f*****g week. Getting out the car and I could smell something sweet but mixed with blood, wolfsbane and charcoal. I look around for where the smell is coming from Alpha Jacob is standing on the porch with his Luna and their son come’s out. I look at him to see if its him the smell is coming from, but the wind blows, and my head turns in the direction of the garden. I start walking I need to find that smell my wolf Daisy is going crazy in my head Alpha Jacob is in my way I push him, and he roars at me, how pathetic.

I see a body shackled to a pole running over and sure enough the smell was coming from him I touch his face with my hand and his eyes open. I almost scream it scared me so much, but our eyes locked and we said the word mate at the same time. Then his eyes close what no don’t close your eyes, this is my mate his shackled by silver and burned alive. I roar as load as I can turn to face Alpha Jacob, shift and attack, Alpha Ryan gets in my way before I am able to do anything commanding me to stand down. He must have done it 3 times before me, or my wolf would listen. We don’t know who did this and your mate needs the hospital I need you to think or your mate. Who does he think I’m thinking of? Of course, I’m thinking of my mate, I shift back an omega gives me some clothes. Get a doctor here know Alpha Jacob.

Ryan gets Jacob to unlock the shackles on my mate laying him on the floor, how could someone do this to another wolf. The doctor turns up and says her name is Kelly she bends down and looks at my mate I growl. I have my own mate look; I have a mark I apologize there is nothing I can do for him I was ordered by my Alpha not to touch the body without his permission. Your f*****g joking, Alpha Ryan you should have let me kill him, you’re more powerful than him demand her to take care of my mate.

Ryan uses his Alpha tone and tells Kelly to take care of him and to do whatever necessary to save him and when it comes to this man, she is to only listen to him. Doctor Kelly thanks Ryan and gets her team ready they put him on a stretcher and off we go to the hospital. Don’t worry mate, I’m here now nothing and no one will hurt you ever again I promise. Once we get to the hospital I am made to sit in the waiting area, there are loads of doctors and nurses in and out of his room, none of them telling me anything. I’m starting to go crazy here 5 hours later Doctor Kelly comes out.

He's alive, he needs a full blood transfusion, so he won’t smell like you’re mate for a couple days. He had so much wolfbane and silver in his system I’m truly amazed he’s still alive. All we can do now is wait and hope that his wolf will bring him through, sit with him hold his hand and let him know you’re there hopefully you being close to him will help him heal quicker.

Walking into the room all the walls are white there is a sofa and a chair next to a table and lamp to one side. Next to the bathroom door is a bed that has my mate on it he’s covered in bandages hooked up too many machines. Grabbing the chair and dragging it over to the bed I sit down next to him, hello my name is Rose we are mates I’m happy to have found you. I’m going to be here every step of the way I’m the Beta of Purple Moon Alpha Ryan picked me over my older brother I’m stronger and a great fighter just like you, you’re a fighter too and I hope you fight for us. I’m going to make everyone who has ever hurt you pay for what they have done to you I’m sure Ryan has contacted the council they will be on their way they will sort this pack out. You will get the revenge you deserve I’m here I’m not going to leave your side. Taking his hand in mine carefully I feel the sparks shooting though are hands the feeling is like nothing that you can ever truly explain it’s like your life is complete. You get a warmth run though like every dream you have ever had you know you can have it if this person is by your side.

Alpha Ryan P.O.V

Rose just left with her mate and going to the hospital I ring the council to tell them what we just found here and what the doctor had said. They are packing their bags and are on their way should be here with in the next 48 hours their instructions are not to say anything to Alpha Jacob, they want it to be a very unwelcome surprise. I go to Alpha Jacobs office I need to find out who the man is what the f*****g hell he was doing in the garden and why he was burned alive. As I get close, I can hear Jacob arguing with Karen they are both blaming each other for not getting rid of the body. Karen saying it’s all Jacob’s fault if he hadn’t burned him alive just for accepting Beta Amy’s rejection then none of this would be happening.

Rose is his second chance mate great they are both each other’s second chance she’s going to want to hug and kill his first mate. It’s a bit stupid for a Beta’s daughter to reject her mate, these people not know that if you reject your mate you do not get another but the mate you reject does get another chance. Wow Rose was right this pack is thick and not worth out time I have been standing here listing to them for 5 minutes and he’s not noticed he should have smelled me as soon as I walked on to this landing. Knocking on the door they stop fighting Jacob calls for me to come in walking into the office Karen looks down and says her goodbye. This office is small dark and smells of alcohol everything in here is different shades of brown, sofa bookcase and desk. There is one small window behind the desk looking at Jacob and trying not to be sick, Who’s the man in the garden? His name is Theodore but that’s all I know as I found him walking around the wood’s when the boy was 5. I wait for Jacob to continue but he doesn’t this man is pissing me off. Alpha Jacob what was the meaning of him being burned alive? He looks at me as if he has no idea what I’m talking about and lies to my face. He killed one of my pack members and that was his punishment. I punch the deck breaking it in half, do you take me for a foul Alpha Jacob ? I heard what your Luna said now tell me the truth.
