Chapter 16“Is Ryan not getting up?” Blake asks as Jasper joins them at the edge of the cliff the following morning. After joking that Jasper would sleep in and Ryan would take his turn for him, it’s Ryan who isn’t getting out of bed. Neither of them had slept too well after their emotional conversation earlier that day about families and how they see their future together, or not. They probably could have gotten a better sleep if they weren’t clinging to each other, but they needed the closeness and comfort more than anything.
