Elise’s POV I woke up to a throbbing headache as I winced and placed my hand over my forehead. I sat up on the bed and felt a bandage on my head. I panicked and looked around the room. It was nothing like my room in my aunt’s house and it was definitely not a hospital. It was a very luxurious bedroom and I was on a king-sized bed. I wondered whose room I was in. I gasped in fear, thinking I might have been kidnapped by rogues. “No, it’s not possible. We haven’t had any rogue issues for three years now,” I muttered to myself, then realized how parched I was. I tried to swallow, but my mouth was dry. I needed water. I looked down at my body and realized I was dressed in a silk white nightdress. I got down from the massive bed and made my way to the door. I took weak steps as my legs wobbled with each attempt. Why were my legs so weak? I thought to myself as I finally reached for the door handle, but the door creaked open and I bumped into a hard rock body. “Oh my goodness! Who are you?!” I thundered, glaring angrily at the most dashing young man I’d ever seen. The pulsating pain I felt in my head seemed to disappear the moment I set eyes on him. He had perfect brown hair and a well-shaped goatee, along with a chiseled jawline that made him look like a model. To top it all off, his body was so muscular and he was at least 2ft taller than I was. “Why are you out of bed?” He asked coldly, raising his eyebrows as I realized I might have just started falling for my kidnapper. I made a run for the door, but he held me back forcefully, his grip around my waist so tight as I desperately tried to wriggle myself out of his grip. “Let me go!” I shouted, almost out of breath, while he let out a loud cackle. “You are indeed so weak. Calm down and walk back to bed!” He thundered and I froze. He gently let go of me as I slowly walked back to the bed, fearing for my life and probably even saying my last prayers to the moon goddess. "See? How hard was that?" he said in a husky tone, his silver eyes boring straight into my soul as he looked at me. I felt like melting under those eyes. I shifted my gaze away from him while he sighed. "When I accidentally ran you over, I thought, 'She's a werewolf; she'll heal quickly.' But, lady, you heal extremely slowly! You've been on my bed for two weeks, recovering," he said, but I refused to budge. But his words stung, and I felt slightly embarrassed. "So you're the i***t who ran me over that night!" I snapped, and his lips formed an annoying smirk. "Hey, hey! You ran INTO my car, okay? Besides, I've made it up to you by taking care of you the best way I can," he defended himself, and that was when I noticed he was shirtless. I started imagining things I would do with him, but I shook my head vigorously, trying to shake off those thoughts. "I know what you're thinking," he said with a wide grin, and my face flushed in embarrassment. "You don't know anything," I protested, and he pointed towards my chest. "Your n*****s gave it all away," he said, and I stared down at my chest, feeling like I hoped my body would join me in melting. "I... it's..." I stuttered, and he placed his index finger on my lips. "Shhh," he whispered, and I froze, watching his every move. Why was I aroused by this man?! "You don't have to explain anything. Just say yes or nod your head," he said in a commanding yet seductive tone. As though an external force compelled me to, I slowly nodded my head, my mouth salivating at the thought of his tongue entangled in a passionate kiss. "Say it," he whispered, tucking my hair behind my ears as I quivered under his touch. "Yes," I said, and he quickly leaped onto the bed, making my heart skip two beats. He brought my face closer to his and kissed me passionately as his hands moved to my thighs. I was already dripping wet, and I made a mess on my gown, but he seemed to like it. He quickly pulled off his shorts and climbed over me, thrusting in and out of me in a jiffy. I felt ecstatic as he filled me up, biting my lips in pleasure. I dug my fingers into his back as he moved with an angelic rhythm like none I'd ever experienced. I screamed as the build-up of pleasure finally ruptured through my veins, leaving me in exploding shivers right under him. His climax soon followed mine, and he collapsed right beside me, panting as though he'd run a marathon race. "Wow," he mouthed as I bit my lips in satisfaction. He suddenly got up and started getting dressed. "Wait... you're leaving?" I asked, trying to cover myself up with the duvet as though he hadn't just seen all that he wanted to. "Yes. And you should leave too since you're better now," he said coldly as I glared at him in confusion. "Wait! I don't even know your name," I protested, but the truth was that I didn't want him to leave me alone. With him, all my worries and pain vanished. "Just refer to me as the Lycan King who saved the wolfless virgin's life," he spat with a condescending chuckle and left the room at once. Oh, he did not just say that to me. I thought, raising my duvet, looking at my stained sheets. "f**k!" I muttered to myself as embarrassment swept over me. Anger surged within me as I regretted having anything to do with him, only for him to make me feel embarrassed. I angrily packed my clothes and found my way back home. **** I took a deep breath as I placed my fingers on the piano. I sat back and relaxed my shoulders, then started to play a note. I sang my favorite song as I played it on the piano, rhythms filling up my room as I shut my eyes and delved into my peaceful world. I was always at peace when I played the piano. It was one of the instruments that helped me cope with the loss of my parents. Before they died, they had tutored me to play different instruments, but I had a special thing for the piano. I remembered when I used to go for different gigs because of my glorious voice and my talent for musical instruments. It fetched my parents a lot of money and even more recognition. But all that fun went down the drain when they died. Anger coursed through my veins as I remembered that night. I swore to find whoever did that and kill them with my bare hands. But wait… I couldn’t do that without my wolf. I felt sad again as I slouched my shoulders and slowly, key by key, stopped playing the instrument. I took a deep breath and before I could breathe out, my door burst open. “Elise! How many times have I told you not to leave the plates in the sink after lunch!” She thundered in anger, but I wasn’t in the mood to entertain her. “I’m sorry, I’ll go and do that now,” I said in a low tone as I stood up and started feeling dizzy, followed by nausea. Oh no, not again. I rushed to the bathroom and threw up in the sink. It was the fifth time that week and I had taken lots of drugs for diarrhea, but I was starting to think it wasn’t diarrhea. “What was that?” She asked, her eyes wide open in surprise. “It… it must be food poisoning,” I said calmly as she scanned my entire body from head to toe, sneered at me, then left my room at once. “Oh no, no, no.” I panicked as the feelings from that night with the Lycan king flooded my memory and invaded my body. “What if? It can’t be! How can I be pregnant for a complete stranger?!” I muttered to myself in panic.
