One night. One mistake. One mark that changed everything.

Anna never asked to be invisible, the silver-haired omega with mismatched eyes, ridiculed and worked to the bone in Alpha Mason’s pack. She never asked to serve drinks at the Blood Moon festival. And she definitely never asked to end up in the bed of Duke, the deadliest Alpha King in werewolf history.

But when an aphrodisiac strips away his control and his wolf claims her with a forbidden mark, Anna becomes the first woman to survive his touch. The first woman to carry his child. The first woman to awaken something inside him that the curse was meant to destroy.

Now she’s running from the king who’s hunting her scent across every territory, from the alpha who wants to own her, and from the truth burning inside her veins: she’s not just an omega. She never was.

Her Lycan is waking. Her magic is rising. And the world that rejected her is about to learn what happens when you underestimate a girl with silver eyes and nothing left to lose.

Because the Alpha King isn’t the only one who’s cursed.

And Anna? She’s about to become everyone’s reckoning.

CHAPTER ONE: THE SILVER HAIRED OMEGA
The dawn came quietly to Moonstone Pack. The cold morning air slipped through the cracks of the quarters. This cold air brushed over Anna's skin. It pulled her out of sleep. Anna opened her eyes slowly. She was still half lost in the dreams of Moonstone Pack that she never remembered. The morning air of Moonstone Pack was really cold. Her small mattress creaked as she sat up. A long wave of silver hair slipped from her shoulders and spread on the wooden floor like shining water. The strands always tangled during sleep but the color never changed. It stayed bright, pure, impossible to ignore. Anna gathered it with both hands and tried to tie it into a messy bun. The hair was so long that it kept falling around her arms. Please stay, she whispered, fighting with it. She took some seconds to tie her hair into a loose knot. It was not perfect. But it did the job and kept the hair out of her face. She breathed out slowly. Whispered to herself like she always did every morning "Another day, you can do this." The hair was messy, but the knot was okay. She said this to herself. Anna stood up. Brushed off her simple brown dress. Then she stepped outside into the corridor. The corridor had a smell of old wood and the soap they used for cleaning. Other servants were already up and about. They were running around with piles of clothes and buckets of water. Anna picked up the things she needed to clean with and walked towards the pack house. She was going to the pack house to do her job. She had to make sure the pack house was clean. The moment Anna walked into the hall people started whispering. They said "Anna is here again! Look at her eyes! They are creepy!" Anna looked down and kept sweeping the floor. Anna's eyes are really strange. People always stare at them. Her eyes are half blue, like the ocean and half silver. Most of the wolves do not look at her eyes, because they think Anna's eyes might cause trouble. A group of female wolves walked by. One of them hit Anna with her shoulder on purpose. "Watch it, silver freak, " she said. Anna lost her balance, but held herself before she hit the ground. She looked down and said "So sorry" in a quiet voice. The girls thought it was funny. They walked away. Anna pressed her lips together tightly. Her chest felt weird and tight. She made herself keep sweeping the floor. She did not want to make a big deal about the female wolves. She just wanted to finish sweeping. After sweeping, she moved towards the laundry room carrying a basket full of clothes. The basket was nearly bigger than her and she had to hold it with both arms. She bent down to pick another pile of clothes from the floor. Suddenly, someone's presence made the air shift, with a heavy, dominant…alpha scent! She froze. She lifted her head up slowly. Alpha Mason was standing in the hall. He was really strong and tall. His dark eyes were watching her. They all knew Mason was the son of the Late Alpha, the one that every single wolf looked up to and was afraid of. Mason's eyes moved slowly over her and for a moment something dark appeared in his eyes. Anna felt a chill go down her spine. Her heart was beating too fast. She held the basket tighter trying to cover herself up even though she had all her clothes on. Mason stepped closer to her. His boots made a lot of noise on the floor. "You are growing up fast Anna, " Mason said in a deep voice, causing Anna to step back quickly, she almost fell down. "Alpha! I need to take these to clean up, please excuse me!" But he didn't move. He tilted his head a little, his eyes studying her face, her hair then drifting down to the curve of her neck. A little smile came on his lips. He said… "Run” in a quiet voice but with a warning, "Do not keep me waiting next time". Anna nodded fast and ran past him. She did not breathe until she got to the kitchen. Her hands were shaking when she put the basket down. She leaned on the counter trying to calm herself. The kitchen was filled with the smell of bread and herbs! Pots are scattered around. Servants argued, it was chaotic but familiar. Anna preferred this place, in the kitchen where people were too busy to bother her. Anna picked up the clothes and began to wipe down the tables. One of the cooks looked over at her with concern. "You look pale girl, did someone frighten you?" Anna just gave a small smile, "No! Just tired." The cook snorted, "Always tired, that's what happens when they treat you like a machine!" Anna didn't reply, she kept wiping. Her mind drifted to her past, the pieces she could remember, a forest, a good night, a man's voice saying, "You are safe now little one!" That man was the Late Alpha. He found her outside the territory when she was a little girl. She did not have any memory of her past. She did not have a family name. The late Alpha took her in, but he only let her stay as a maid. When the late Alpha died everything became really bad. Mason took control of the territory and the people at the pack started treating her poorly. They made her feel like she did not belong in the pack. The late Alpha was the only one who had been taking care of her. Now that he was gone, Mason was in charge and things were very difficult for her. Anna stopped cleaning for a moment and pressed her hand against her chest. Why am I even here? She whispered. A few tears threatened to fall, but she blinked them away. She finished cleaning the table and walked to the sink to wash a spoon. As she lifted it, the polished metal reflected her face, and strange eyes stared back at her … half blue, half silver, so unnatural, so different. She had asked the late alpha once why they looked like that. He only said, "You must come from a special bloodline." He never explained, but Anna touched her reflection in the spoon with a trembling finger. Her voice came out quiet, almost afraid of the answer. "Who am I?" The spoon shook in her hand. Other wolves outside laughed and prepared for the Blood Moon Festival. Life continued as normal for everyone but Anna's heart whispered a truth she didn't understand yet. Something big was coming. Something that would change everything, and her strange eyes were the first sign.
