Chapter Thirty-Two
Sawyer watched as the last group exited the auditorium. It had been interesting to observe as Devin had touched hundreds of people and their infirmities disappeared. From where he sat, Sawyer couldn’t see everything, but he did see terrible scars disappear, limps and deformities vanish, and people who came in sitting in a wheelchair, pushing the empty chair away as they left. He also saw Devin get many hugs and more than a few kisses as well.
There was one thing that was noticeably absent. At no time did Devin or any of the staff hand out any kind of pamphlet explaining that this healing ability was a gift from God.
