Chapter Thirty-Eight
Devin entered the lab, the same place where he had first appeared when they pulled him into the future. While walking, he unconsciously rubbed the spot on his right arm where the cloned biochip had been injected an hour before. There wasn’t any pain or discomfort, just a sensation, and he knew there was now futuristic technology added to his body.
He stopped only a few feet into the room and looked in amazement at what he saw. He was taking more time to survey the room than when he was last here. There were multiple workstations around the room, with strange-looking equipment. What was most impressive was how few computer monitors there were. Instead, most of the displays were holographic.
