A taxi parked at the front of a big eatery with the inscription " FARUZ EATERY " Stacy and Arenze alighted from the car.

" You didn't need to bring me to this eatery, I am not feeling hungry " Arenze said with a slight frown she was very hungry but she thought this eatery was too expensive for her to patronize.

Stacy looked at her best friend with a smile, she has known Arenze for a long time and she knows it was not a part of her to eat in a very expensive eatery like this one " You don't need to starve before you acknowledge the fact that you are famished and besides you look skinny you need to put on some weight " Stacy said frowning. They guided themselves to a vacant seat and sat there waiting for the waiter to come along.

Arinze looked at her friend's expression for a while wondering if she should bring up the topic after much thinking she resolved to bring it up " what is going on between you and Chad ".

On hearing the question Stacy frowned " We are good, and nothing is going on " she didn't believe Arenze will bring up the topic at this very time deep down she didn't understand the relationship between Chad and her to his workers he is a cold beast but to her, he is completely different and the way he looks at her sends cold chills down her body she new she has fallen for him but since he hasn't said anything about it then they are just friends.

" Excuse me miss what would you like to eat, " a waitress said talking to Stacy interrupting Arenze's speech.

Stacy tuck the manual glancing through the meals, none seems to catch her attention just then something cut her attention it was a notice on the paper which said " If costumers don't like what they see they can order for food, not on the menu. " I need penne with mozzarella cheese and tomatoes sauce, " Stacy said with a smile she has heard a lot about penne Caprese and she wanted to see for herself if it was delicious just like the way people describe it to be.

" yes miss," the waitress said with a smile she wasn't really surprised that Stacy ordered penne caprese, they were too delicious to overlook in a food menu. The waitress looked at Arenze with a smile " And what would you like to eat miss ".

" I would like to eat Taglierini del Golfo also known as fresh pasta saute in cream with shrimp peas and red peppers," Arinze said with a wide smile those were her best food.

" Yes miss, I will be back in a minute," the waitress said and walked away.

Arinze looked at the waitress till she was out of sight then she turned her face to look back at Stacy " we've been friends for a long time Stacy if you want to hide anything from anyone it certainly ccan'tbe me I know the look of love when I see one and from the way I see you look at him I know you are in love with him am I right " Arenze said looking directly at the eyes of her best friend.

" Can we not just talk about this Arenze, I have said it I am not in love with him " Stacy said trying to hide her flushed chick. As much as she does not want to admit it she knows she possibly can't hide it from Arinze.

" come on admit it already, " Arinze said suppressing her laughter when she saw Stacy blushing.

The sound of Arinze's phone interrupted Stacy from the rest of her speech. Arinze tuck her phone out of her bag and immediately picked it up when she saw the caller.

" Good day manager, " Arinze said

" Arinze I need you in the company in the next fifteen minutes," Arenze's manager said.

"W...W. What! But I don't have any brand to model for today " Arenze said in surprise.

" Chad Lee is organizing his birthday party the day after tomorrow and he wants you to be the singer at the party I need you to come to the company, we are running out of time," the manager said hanging up the phone.

" Don't tell me you have a hand in this Stacy " Arenze said still in a daze.

" in what exactly " Stacy said in confusion.

" My manager just called me saying Chad wants me to be the sing in his birthday party coming up in few days, don't tell me you talked him into it " Arinze said.

" Honestly I didn't, I am just aware of the fact that his birthday is coming soon I didn't know, " Stacy said with a smile. She was really happy that Stacy had a chance of singing in a gathering where she can show the world her hidden talent.

" I can believe you for now but I will find out soon. For now, I have to go I will call you when am done" Arenze said running out of the eatery without sparing her best friend a glance.

Her hair was packed neatly to her back, her make-up was light but it matched her face perfectly, she was wearing a red handless gown with an Inscription DABLIZE. She looked at her dad angrily

" I can't believe Chad will do this to me, why will he choose that slut over me doesn't he realize that I am Rhia Zoe America's rank one model and one of the top 10 best singers in Europe and America. Why does that b***h have to have everything " Rhia said in anger. Earlier when Chad told her about his birthday party she had thought that he would make her the singer in the party only for her to hear from her private investigator that Arenze a girl she hated has taken over the role that was meant for her.

If she can't get him then she can lock him in her triangle " Dad I want you to invite him over today and tell him it's business talk then I will take it from there " Rhia said with an air of sarcasm in her voice.

Rhia leaned forward telling him every of her plan with a low voice " Don't worry dad I won't screw up " Rhia said when she saw her dad surprised expression

" You had better not screw this up, Chad lee is someone you can't mess with and if you do be ready to pay with your life, " Mr. Zoe said emphasizing " pay with your life " he cants believe his daughter will go to such an extent to get what she wants but even at that he was sure to support her cos if she can get Chad he can use her to ruin his company and then the only person standing on his way will be Shawn Jason the CEO of J.J group.
